lbert Hakakian draws with his heart and with his mind, his art is a way to advertise about G-d. He says: According to Gemara: The type of profession which a person chooses does not guarantee him a life of wealth or one of poverty, rather Hashem bestows riches upon each individual as he sees fit. Therefore one has to make the most out of what he has been blessed with.

or me, Art is a way to advertise about G-d and I feel very much attached to it. There are people who keep telling me to go back and get a 9-5 job in an advertising agency or something like that and I tell them "I already had a couple years of that, there are plenty of people who can advertise better about cat food and Ketchup bottles and not enough people who can advertise about Torah".

think this has made my life very exciting and it should be up to each and every one of us to make the most out of what G-d has bestowed upon us. Anytime that I do a Jewish art work I consider it very spcial, I wash my hand before I put the pen on paper or parchment. Usually I try to Convey a message by creating something nice that people would enjoy to look at. When I came to this country by myself in 1974 I was among the very few Jewish Iranian students in the school of architecture at City College of New York, by the time I got my B.S. in Art the Shah was gone and that was the time that I decided not to go back! and up to two months ago my family had been desperately stuggling to be reunited once more.

believe that whatever which happened to our fathers in the past, somehow will happen to us too!
